On April 1st, Humboldt Cosmos Multiversity and the University of La Laguna (ULL) will be kicking-off our new joint 3-stages project on Blockchain and Crypto-economics in Tenerife. And you can be part of it. Submit your BLOCKCHAIN application in the Canaries in general and Tenerife in particular and join the BLOCKCHAIN movement in the Islands. Participation in this project is free of cost.
One of the globally leading and largest centers in Crypto-economics and Blockchain technology, the Austrian Blockchain Center, ABC (Vienna) has agreed to enter in cooperation with some of the Tenerife’s leading researching and education institutions, such as the ULL, Humboldt Cosmos Multiversity or the Technology and Renewable Energies Institute (ITER). The main goal of the agreement is to consolidate cooperation in Blockchain research applied to the achievement of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s), as applicable to the Canary Islands through a series of different application projects. The 2019 calendar includes the three following events:
- World [UN]Blocked Conference. Humboldt Cosmos Multiversity and the ULL will stream it for the Canaries. The event will take place on April 1st, 2019, at the ULL’s School of Engineering and Technology (class 2.4). Click here for more info.
- First meeting the Vienna team of the ABC, under the lead of Dr. Shermin Voshgmir in Tenerife, May 3rd to 6th, for those having attended the April 1st event. More information about dates and locations will be added soon.
- Second meeting and workshop with the Vienna ABC team in Tenerife, during the second half of November, 2019. In this workshop, participants will work out a series of Blockchain applications appropriate for the Canaries, always fulfilling the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals requirements.
Participation in this project is free of cost, for all those interested and wanting to join the event series with the motivation to contribute to Blockchain applications in the Canaries in general and Tenerife in particular.
