Blockchain is back to HCM’s agenda: New models and applications

Blockchain is back to Humboldt Cosmos Multiversity’s agenda. On November 18th to 19th in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. (Canary Islands, Spain), a new conference on this cutting-edge technology and its potential in regions such as the Canary Islands will take place. Again, this event will count again with experts from the Vienna University of Economics (WU) and local experts from the University of La Laguna.

 

 

This new event will consist of a two-day workshop (November 18th to 19th, 2019), being hosted at the Sovihispan Building (Santa Cruz de Tenerife). In this occasion, WU‘s director, Dr. Alfred Taudes, will be the main speaker of this cycle. The objective of this workshop, especially, during the second day, is to discuss relevant model cases to the Canary Islands, considered as living labs for innovative projects fulfilling United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Additionally, Humboldt Cosmos Multiversity, besides ULL and the Canary Islands Astrophysics Institute (IAC) will organize a one-day seminar on Open Innovation, Theory and Practice on November 15th. This event will count with Mr. Bror Salmelin, Adviser for Innovation Systems at the European Commission as main moderator.

 

The objective of this event will be to learn from existing open innovation projects, especially from which ones with potential to the Canary Islands.
